The hot weather is upon us and with it the end of winter greens. Harvested, shared, blanched and froze the turnips. The mustard began to suffer the Florida heat (80F) and sun, so that too went by the wayside.
The cabbages are well on their way.
And Potatoes- all planted from scraps. Who knew? Don’t throw out your seeding potatoes, plant them in a mound (or bucket)
Squash and Zucchini seedlings are ready to be planted.
The back garden is planted out with okra, onions, conch peas and lentils- yes, really, lentils!
The weather is warming, so get your garden going and have a healthy, green spring!
