For many years I’ve been advocating using food fresh from Florida and this
January is no exception. Take advantage of the fresh produce that this great state is known for: Oranges! The recent few cold snaps have made these juicy treats sweeter than ever.
Juicing oranges is simple all it takes is oranges and a juicer (electric is easier), and you can mix the types you use. 4 gallons of oranges make 1 gallon of juice. Wash the oranges and cut them in half & juice. Add a tangerine or two to kick up the sweetness naturally. Fresh orange juice should be stored in the fridge after juicing.
